In order to deepen the reform of the compulsory product certification system, strengthen the responsibilities of market entities, and further reduce the institutional transaction costs, in accordance with the "Opinions of the State Council on Strengthening the Construction of Quality Certification System" and "Promoting Total Quality Management" (Guo Fa [2018] No. 3), the compulsory The following reforms and adjustments have been made to the sexual product certification catalog and implementation methods:
1. Compulsory product certification management will no longer be implemented for some products
  Since the date of this announcement, some products (see Annex 1) will no longer implement mandatory product certification management, and the designated certification body shall cancel the mandatory product certification certificates that have been issued.
  The National Certification and Accreditation Administration cancels the designated business scope of compulsory product certification involved in relevant certification bodies and laboratories.
2. Increase the self-declaration evaluation method for some products
  Since October 1, 2018, a self-declaration evaluation method has been added to some products (see Annex 2). Relevant companies can choose to be certified by a designated certification body in accordance with existing methods, or they can use self-declaration methods to prove that their products can continue to meet the requirements of compulsory product certification in accordance with the "Compulsory Product Certification Self-Declaration Implementation Rules" (see Annex 3), and Complete the submission of product compliance information.
