In June 2016, an on-site meeting was held in Hubei to promote the experience and practices of smart fire protection construction in Yichang and other places, guide localities to strengthen the in-depth integration of modern science and technology and fire protection work, and integrate smart fire protection into the overall planning and synchronous promotion of smart city construction content; 2017 Oct, the “Guiding Opinions on Comprehensively Promoting the Construction of Smart Fire Fighting” was issued, which clarified the construction’s objectives, principles, key tasks, work requirements, etc., and guided the comprehensive use of emerging information technologies such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, big data, and mobile Internet to accelerate progress Smart firefighting construction; in December 2017, an on-site meeting was held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, to exchange smart firefighting construction experience and practices, and deploy the next key tasks. In the next step, we will seriously absorb your suggestions, accelerate the construction of smart fire protection, further improve the level of information, technology, and intelligence of fire protection, and better adapt to the new situation and challenges of fire prevention and control.

1. Actively build a smart fire fighting big data platform and an Internet of Things system. Our department is studying and drafting an informatization construction plan (2019-2022), fully connected with the national integrated online government service platform, strengthened cross-department and cross-level data sharing and business collaboration, integrated the resources of smart fire protection systems in various regions, and unified key data interface standards. Clarify the requirements for the opening of the system construction agreement, share data resources across the country, and establish and improve the big data management platform for fire prevention and control at all levels. At the same time, it organized Tianjin, Shanghai, Shenyang, Sichuan and other fire research institutes to invest in scientific research funds, strengthen in-depth cooperation with leading technology enterprises, universities, and scientific research institutions.
